Perky Lash's LED Lash Extensions Spotlighted on The Straits Times

Our LED Lash Extensions, launched in October 2023, have recently featured in The Straits Times. This recognition underscores our commitment to revolutionizing the lash industry and addresses common customer concerns, thanks to our founder Jasmin Tay's dedication!

In this blog post, we'll talk more about the features and benefits of our LED Lash Extensions, exploring how they offer a safer, more comfortable, and longer lasting alternative compared to regular lash extensions.

At Perky Lash, we encounter many customers who face with sensitivity and allergies related to cyanoacrylate-based lash glues. By utilizing a special glue that dries instantly under an LED (light-emitting diode) lamp, we can minimize the risk of irritation and allergic reactions, providing a safer option for our clients with sensitive eyes.

"This reduces the glue fumes and makes the session more comfortable, especially for customers with sensitive eyes. There is also no downtime as the customer can be in contact with water immediately after the treatment," says Founder Jasmin.

Other than that, LED Lash Extensions can last up to eight weeks, offering a much durable effect compared to regular lash extensions.

Next up, you might want to know whether it is safe to your eyes. The answer is yes!

Why LED Lash Extensions? Benefits

LED light falls under non-ionizing radiation, which means it lacks the energy to cause cellular damage or ionize atoms and molecules. This makes LED therapy completely safe, especially for the delicate eye area.

Additionally, lash extension adhesives cured with LED light focus on specific wavelengths within the visible light spectrum. Rest assured, these wavelengths pose no risk to your eyes, ensuring a comfortable and secure experience throughout the application process.

Worth noting, LED light sources produce minimal heat, eliminating risks of burns or discomfort when used in close proximity to the eyes.

However, Founder Jasmin mentioned that this extension method may not be appropriate for individuals taking medications that increase their sensitivity to sunlight, such as isotretinoin and lithium. Additionally, it may not be suitable for those with a history of certain conditions, such as skin cancer and inherited eye disease.

If you wish to know whether LED Lash Extensions are suitable for you, Perky Lash offers a 30-minute LED patch test service, so that you can commit to this method with zero worries!
